The Riverwalk Project, located along the Yampa River, encompassed three city blocks. The land had previously been a mobile home park and an extensive amount of “unknown” utilities were encountered and incorporated into the scope.

RDP installed appurtenances and a 12′’ water main to incorporate the riverwalk into the city supply. The new 15′’ sanitary was installed while keeping the existing one in service. The biggest challenge was the installation of an 8′x8′ concrete box culvert to carry fish to the creek falls. The box culvert was installed across US Highway 40. Despite a short construction season and tightly compressed timeline, RDP was able to complete the work efficiently and ahead of schedule.
